Always smiling, jovial and adventurous by nature, his interest and concern for the environment led him to become an engineer in energy and sustainable development.
After spending some years working for one the biggest enterprise of Quebec, his passion for adventure and sailing has pushed him to build his own sailing company in order to share his passions.
Sailing and racing instructor, his navigations have brought him in beautiful places like the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Great Lakes, or the St. Lawrence River, but also ocean crossings.
In search of adrenaline he has participated to local races as well as international races like the Antigua Sailing Week, les Voiles des St-Barth or the North American Soling Championship, on sailboats from small dinghies to 65-feet Volvos!
Materials engineer, outstanding entrepreneur, and adventurer, his career has led him to travel and live many adventures here in Quebec but also in South America, Alaska and Haiti.
It is after having met Axel and his project to participate in the Ocean Globe Race that Nicolas decided to embark on this unique adventure, becoming co-skipper and co-founder of ArcticStern Adventure.
Sailing instructor and sailboat owner in the region of the Fjord of Saguenay, he has in his wake navigation in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the St. Lawrence River.
